Integration Health Monitor

Every Workday integration on one page: last run, status, failure trend, and a named owner, with an alert the moment a run fails. For teams without an integration engineer on staff.

The problem

Workday's Process Monitor shows integration runs one at a time, to whoever thinks to look. Most mid-market teams find out an integration failed when payroll, the benefits carrier, or finance calls. The monitoring suites that fix this are built and priced for enterprises with hundreds of integrations.

What it does

  • One page for all integrations. EIB, Core Connector, and Studio runs with last run time, status, duration, and a seven-day trend.
  • Owners. Assign a person or team to each integration so a failure has a name attached.
  • Alerts. Notify the owner in Workday the moment a run fails or runs long; a weekly digest for the HRIS lead.
  • History. Failure patterns by integration, by day, and by error class, to fix root causes instead of re-running.

How it is built

A Workday Extend app running inside your tenant on Workday's own platform. It reads integration events through Workday APIs and stores only run metadata. No data leaves Workday. Setup is an app install plus security group assignment; no servers, no middleware.
